Joy Campbell

In loving memory of Melody Joy Campbell who passed peacefully on June 12, 2022.

Known as “Joy” to her loved ones and friends, she was born December 20, 1960 to Mary Ann Cochran Johnson and Jimmy Norris. She was a wonderful wife and loving mother, a Christian lady who made our community a better place. She was a member of In Touch Ministries of First Baptist Church Atlanta and cherished the sermons of Dr. George and Dr. Stanley. Joy was a proud alumna of Middle Georgia State University, and she worked in their Administration Department as an Accounting Tech. You couldn't miss her during the work day; she had the friendliest smile and most helpful attitude. She enjoyed gardening and her two mini schnauzer dogs and three cats.

Joy is survived by her husband, Mark Campbell, her daughter, Olivia Boesger and son-in-law, Eddy Nguyen, her cousins, Lori NeSmith, Tracie (Darryn) Williams, Chandler (Scott) Purser, Taylor (Lauren) Williams, and Tucker Jordan Williams.

The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June15, 2022, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
