Willie Joe Jones

Wilie Joe Jones, 72, of High Falls passed away Friday Junes 5, 2026. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday June 12, 2026, at High Falls Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Willie was born July 7, 1953, in Reidsvile Georgia to the late Prentice Jones and the late Ruby Jones. After high school, Willie honorability served in the US Army. Following his service, he worked for many years as a truck driver, retiring from Walker Concrete. After retiring, he enjoyed working in his shop, spending time with his family, and watching westerns on TV, especially Gunsmoke.

Willie is survived by his children, daughter Michelle Bryant of Warner Robins; sons, Willie Jones (Felecia Smith) of Forsyth, Casey Jones (Courtnie) of High Falls, and Ryan Jones (Rebecca) of High Falls; grandchildren, Aden Jones, Bentley Smith, Dixie Jones, Waylon Smith, Axel Jones, Daniel Jones, Casen Jones, Jaxen Jones, Addalynn Jones, and Olivia Jones; brother Billy Jones; sisters Joan Wellman and Janice Caines (Steve) and many friends.

In addition to his parents Wille is preceded in death by his wife, Angela Dawn Guess Jones; son Michael Jones; brother Melvin Jones and sister Evelyn Odom.
