Walter Thomas Zellner, III

Walter Thomas “Tommy” Zellner, III passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. Services and burial will be private at a later date. Tommy was born December 18, 1963, in Forsyth, Georgia. His father, Walter Thomas Zellner, Jr. preceded him in death. Tommy was a 1981 graduate of Mary Persons High School. He was self-employed as a heavy equipment mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Dawn Williams Zellner; children, Heather Williams (Leslie), Sydney Zellner and Paxton Zellner; mother, Linda Bryant Thompson; sister Tonia Thompson; several nephews and a niece; aunt, Ellen Zellner. The family suggests donations in his memory to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
