Vickie S. Davis

Vickie S. Davis, 70, of Juliette, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, May 13, 2024, at East Juliette Baptist Church with the Reverend JR Jones officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall. Burial will be at Stodghill Cemetery in Worthville, Georgia. 

Vickie is survived by her husband, Chester Davis of Juliette; children, William Richard "Billy" Carroll of Forsyth, Deirdre DeFore (Lucas) of Macon, Marty Davis of Juliette, Ruby Young (Chuck) of Jackson, Georgia, and Patty Bowen of Juliette; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her sisters, Anita Allen and Freda Jones. 

Vickie was born in Atlanta to the late Benjamin Vester Shelnutt and Daphene Dathulia Swaney Shelnutt. She attended East Juliette Baptist Church.
