Thomas Oliver Tomberlin

Thomas Oliver Tomberlin passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2018, at First Baptist Church of High Falls, with a private burial in the church cemetery. Rev. John Condra will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Mr. Tomberlin, the son of the late David L. Tomberlin and Kathleen Smith Tomberlin was born April 2, 1928, in Miami, Florida. His son, David Haden Tomberlin preceded him in death. He was retired from the Miami- Dade Fire Rescue and was a member of High Falls Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Doris Louise Tomberlin; children, Charles Thomas Tomberlin (Nancy) and Donald J. Tomberlin of High Falls; sister, Margaret Ann Condra of Alpharetta; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to First Baptist Church of High Falls, 4408 High Falls Road, Jackson, Ga 30233. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
