Thomas K. Czerniejewski “CJ”, 61, of Forsyth, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026. CJ was born July 31, 1964, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Frank Czerniejewski, and Linda Sue Oliver. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

CJ proudly served his country as a Veteran of the United States Air Force, where he carried out his duties with honor and distinction. His deep love for his country and his commitment to serving others led him into a long and dedicated career in law enforcement. He retired from the Forsyth City Police Department, where he served as a K‑9 handler alongside his trusted partner, Mako.

Thomas is survived by his wife Trellis; daughter, Sarah Czerniejewski; stepchildren Micheal and Mindy Smith; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; mother, Linda; brothers Frankie and Melvin Czerniejewski; sister Heidi Paraquette; and many friends.
