Sybil Reid Inglett

May 3, 1939 — July 5, 2020

Sybil Maxine Reid Inglett, 81 years old, passed away at her home in Pigeon Forge, TN on Sunday, July 5, 2020 with her loving family by her side.

A private service for family will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2020, with no formal visitation. Rev. Chris Fuller will officiate. She was a member of Old Union Baptist Church in Harlem, GA.

Mrs. Inglett, the daughter of the late Walker Hawes Reid, Sr. and Agnes Pearson Reid was born on May 3, 1939, in Appling, Georgia. She grew up in Columbia County Georgia, but moved to Sevier County, TN in 2001. She was a homemaker and loved nothing better than spending time with her family, working with her flowers, and feeding the wild birds. She was a great cook and avid baker, often trying new recipes to give to family and neighbors. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, beloved grandmother and a humble servant to God. Her faith took her through some very tough times, especially during the last year of her life and she never failed to ask everyone she met to "Say a prayer for me." God has gained a very special angel and she will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, George M. Inglett; children Wanda (Jerry) Moye - Thomson, GA, Marian (Luther) Bracknell - Kodak, TN, Randy (Lisa) Inglett - Culloden, GA, Wendell (Kelly) Inglett, and Jerry (Christina) Inglett; grandchildern Sonny Bilderback, Marie Trejo, Christy Cowart, Melissa Bilderback, Wayne Moye, Jessica McAbee, Felicia Bracknell, Dean Bracknell, Lenard Bracknell, Kenneth Bracknell, Garett Inglett, Elaina Inglett Jonathon Jebram, Colton Inglett, Alex Inglett, Chace Scarboro, Austin Scarboro, Jay Inglett, Levi Inglett, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, sisters Anne Seigler and Betty Wacs, brother Walker Reid, Jr. and daughter Martha Inglett.

Special thanks to caregiver Christina Inglett for all the love and comfort she provided, Brandon Bown and the staff at LeConte Pulmonary, and her caregivers with Covenant Hospice.

Funeral arrangements are being conducted by Atchley Funeral Homes, Sevierville, TN.
