Sara Virrey Cash

Sara Virrey Cash, age 77, of Woodbury, GA, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025. She was born on July 25, 1948, in Newnan, GA, to the late George Alonzo Cash and Mary Ann Alma Spradlin Cash.

A loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mrs. Cash will be remembered for her fun, sweet, and caring nature. She brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met.

She is survived by her children, Geraldine Harrison, Bryan Olmstead, and Anne Boynton; sisters, Sally Peacock and Mary Plugis; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sons, William David Olmstead Jr. and Callaway George Pope Olmstead; granddaughter, Jessica Christine Boynton; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, with Brother Terry Calhoun officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Monroe Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Cash’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
