Russell Luther Crane

Russell Luther Crane, age 72 of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Services will be private. Russell was born in Jackson Georgia to the late Wayne "Bozo" Howell Crane and Juanita Mangham Crane. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Jennifer Crane of Macon. After graduating from Dudley Hughes High School, Russell joined the Navy and served for three tours in the Mediterranean during the Vietnam War. Following his time in the Navy, he worked as a truck driver until retirement. Russell enjoyed hunting and fishing. He could often be found at his catfish pond in the company of many good friends. He is survived by his brother Wayne "Mickey" Crane (Betsy) of Forsyth, his sister Donna Hoopes of Warner Robins, and his brother Jim Crane (Angela) of Hartwell. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
