Macon . . . John Ronald “Ronnie” Thompson, Sr., former Mayor of Macon, passed away March 22, 2020.

He is survived by his daughter, Ronita Thompson Caldwell, and his son, John R “Johnny” Thompson, Jr. (Diana) of Conyers, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services were private.
