Ronald Frank Johnson

Ronald Frank “Ronnie” Johnson passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at East Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery, 183 J H Aldridge Drive, Juliette, GA 31046.  Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Ronnie was born June 12, 1949, in Forsyth, Georgia, to the late Lecil Spurgeon Johnson and Sydney Marie Bass Johnson. He was a retired supervisor. Ronnie was a graduate of Mary Persons High School; he attended Upson Technical School for one year and was a member of Maynard Baptist Church.  Survivors include his wife, Jackie Wilson Johnson of Juliette; children, Lynn (Roy) Watts of Forsyth, Rhonda (John) Smith of High Falls and Dawn (Chris) Blessett of Forsyth; sister, Karen Counts of Cedar Crossing; brother, Ricky (Vickie) Johnson of Forsyth; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Maynard Baptist Church Freedom Fund, Post Office Box 576, Forsyth, GA 31029.    Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
