Rev. Dr. David Harold Bernthal

Rev. Dr. David H. Bernthal, age 81, of Juliette earned his Crown of Glory on October 7, 2021. Beloved husband of Paulette. Loving father of Michele Lenoir (David), Michael Bernthal (Brandi) and Steven Bernthal. Dearest grandfather of Mia, Jack, Ever and Apres.  He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Harold and Lois Bernthal, his brothers Thomas Bernthal and James Bernthal.

Rev. Dr. Bernthal received acknowledgement of serving the Lord six years as a Lutheran Teacher and Minister of Education and Youth and fifty years serving the Lord in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).  He was beloved by the seven congregations he served fulltime and the several congregations he served as Interim pastor.

Dave enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved just being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or School in Perry Georgia or The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) of the Florida-Georgia District.

The Memorial Service of the celebration of his life will take place on Saturday October 16 at 12:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church, 208 Langston Road, Perry, Georgia 31069. 487-397-5914 (Rev. John C. Lehenbauer).
