Ray Browning

Ray Browning, 73, of Byron passed away June 18, 2025. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ray was born August 9, 1951, in Warner Robins Georgia to the late Henry and Sarah Browning. He retired from Warner Robins AirForce base where he earned the respect of his coworkers with his knowledge and work ethic. He loved music and was an accomplished guitar player and passionate drummer. He was a simple man who lived a simple life, who was an avid collector of military memorabilia. He loved his family and made many friends.

Ray leaves behind to mourn his loss, his wife, Linda Browning; daughters, Summer Martin (Craig), Sarah Browning; stepsons, Joseph Gilley (Anna), Anthony Gilley (Kaci); sister Beverly Soles; nine grandchildren; brother-in-law, Buddy Phillips (Linda), and many friends.

In addition to his parents Ray is preceded in death by his sister Venona Browning
