Randy Wayne Taylor, known affectionately as Booger to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on December 27, 1970, in Forsyth, Georgia, Randy was a beacon of light and love to all who knew him. His infectious laughter and generous spirit will be deeply missed by many. A celebration of Life will be held 2:30PM, Saturday, November 22,2025 at Garden Hills Baptist Church 88 Vining Street, Forsyth, Georgia, 31029. Randy's life was one of dedication and service. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Tina Taylor, and a loving father to his children, Chris and Abigal Taylor. His role as “paw paw” to Toby, Anniston, and Graycee Taylor was one he cherished with all his heart. His sister, Erica Butts, and brother-in-law, Joe Butts, along with his sister Andrea Thompson and brother-in-law, Andrew Thompson, remember Randy as a pillar of strength and kindness in their family. He was also a beloved nephew to his aunts, Pam Reaves and Vicky Washburn, and a doting uncle to his niece, Maddie Butts. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wayne Taylor, his stepdad, James Bush, and his stepmom, Marie Taylor, who all instilled in him the values he carried throughout his life.

Professionally, Randy was a steadfast employee at Harvey's Plumbing for 29 years, where his work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident to all. He later became a plumber with the Bibb County Board of Education and showed his passion for supporting his community. Randy's contributions to both his workplace and community left an indelible mark that will not be forgotten.

Randy's faith played a central role in his life. As a Deacon at Garden Hills Baptist Church, he exemplified the teachings of his faith through his actions and words. He was a man who lived by the well-known quote attributed to St. Francis of Assisi, "For it is in giving that we receive." This philosophy was evident in how Randy approached life – always a giver, never wanting to take, and forever loyal to his family and church.

Beyond his official roles, Randy's interests included spending quality time with his family and friends, sharing stories, and making memories that will be treasured forever. His compassion was evident in his love for his multiple dachshunds. He was the kind of person who could light up a room with his presence and was always the first to lend a helping hand. Randy's legacy is one of love, service, and unwavering faith. His life was a testament to the power of giving and the strength of family bonds.

As we say goodbye to Randy, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the countless ways in which he enriched our lives. His spirit will continue to inspire us, and his memory will live in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Randy Wayne Taylor. Your journey was one of purpose, and your story will be told with fondness for generations to come.
