Peggy Earline Smith

Peggy Earline Smith passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, October 18, 2018, at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2018, at East Juliette Baptist Church. Burial will be private. Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Peggy, the daughter of the late Grady Smith and Eva Vivian Pippin Smith was born May 15, 1935, in Juliette, Georgia. She was a member of East Juliette Baptist Church and was retired from the textile industry. Survivors include her children, Allan Smith (Shirley) of St. Simons and Grady Smith of Juliette; sisters, Betty Merritt of Juliette and Maryanne Tyson of Vidalia; brothers, Billy Smith (Edna) of Blakely, Robert Smith and Jerry Smith (Debbie) of Juliette; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to East Juliette Baptist Church, Post Office Box 250, Juliette, GA 31046. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
