Paul Fillmore Brown

October 9, 1939 — March 25, 2021

Paul Fillmore Brown passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Ricky Niblett will officiate. Due to COVID-19 there will not be a formal visitation. Masks and social distancing are required at the cemetery.

Paul, the son of the late Millard Fillmore Brown and Edna Pauline Sherill Brown was born October 9, 1939 in Louden, Tennessee.  His wife, Angela Couch Brown and his daughter, Brandy Foust preceded him in death.  He was a musician having been inducted into the Atlanta Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.  Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where he previously served as a deacon.

Survivors include his children, David Brown of Ellenwood and Stephen Brown of Forsyth; sister, Janice Wilson (Cliff) of Louden, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tori Beach and Abby Foust; and great grandchild, Wyatt Beach.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
