Nancy Kay Nugent Buckland

Nancy Kay Nugent Buckland, Born February 15^th, 1948, Died February 17^th, 2023.

Born and raised in Nashville, TN to parents Jim and Kathryn (Kitty) Nugent. She attended Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Nancy married Gaylon Buckland in 1971; they were married for 51 years. Nancy was mother to three children: Michelle, Melissa, and Matt.  Nancy and her husband were missionaries to Honduras with the International Mission Board. Nancy is survived by her husband Gaylon of Forsyth, and her brother Jim & Wendy Nugent of England. Nancy is also survived by all three of her children: Michelle Craddock and spouse Craig Craddock, Melissa Buckland, and her son Matt Buckland and spouse Cathy Buckland. Nancy is also survived by her grandchildren: Bryson & Ashley Craddock and their children Delaney and Noah; Caleb Craddock; Katie Craddock Moore and spouse Jacob Moore; Matt & Cathy’s children: Carter, Owen, Jack, and Wyatt.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25^th at 11 am in the chapel at New Providence Baptist Church in Forsyth.
