Millidge Edward Gardner

Millidge Edward Gardner passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at New Beginnings Pentecostal Church.  Burial will be private.  Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Mr. Gardner, the son of the late Remes Gardner and Debbie Barber Gardner was born October 7, 1942, in Bainbridge, Georgia. He was retired from Tanner Transport and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Gardner taught driving school at Central Georgia Tech and was very devoted to his grandchildren.  Survivors include his wife, Deborah Gardner of Juliette; children, Neal (Stephanie) Gardner of Newnan, Angie (Richard) Schofield of Summerville, South Carolina and Karen “Sissy” (Craig) Sheltra of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister, Frances Barfield of Donalsonville; and six grandchildren.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to New Beginnings Pentecostal Church, Post Office Box 272, Juliette, GA 31046.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
