Mildred Meeks Wilson

Mildred Minnette Meeks Wilson passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018, at United Pentecostal Church, 1876 Hwy 19 North, Thomaston, Georgia 30286. Interment will follow in Forsyth City Cemetery. Rev. James King and Rev. Greg Palmer will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mildred, the daughter of the late Homer Clyde Meeks and Grace Fountain Meeks was born March 14, 1940, in Forsyth, Georgia. She retired from Hubbard Elementary School as a teacher’s aide and was a member of United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her husband, Jeff Wilson of Forsyth; daughter, Wendy Howell (Van) of Leesburg; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Howell of Leesburg. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
