Mickey Duffey

William Michael “Mickey” Duffey passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2021 at Flovilla City Cemetery. Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate.

Mickey, the son of the late James Fleetwood Duffey and Willie Ruth Hardy Duffey was born September 26, 1949 in Jackson, Georgia. His brother, David Duffey and his sister, Nancy Duffey Third preceded him in death. He retired from Bibb Company as a master welder and millwright.

Mickey is survived by his daughters, Tabitha Duffey of Forsyth and Heather Duffey Weaver (Justin) of Thompsons Station, TN; grandchildren, Andie Weaver, Waylon Weaver and Sara Claire Weaver; close friends, Sandra Colvin and Betty Jane Wilson of Forsyth; nephews, Larry Duffey and Terry Duffey.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
