Mary Lee Pritchett

Mary Lee Pritchett, of Juliette, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, after a long illness. Her family and friends will celebrate her life Sunday, June 7, 2026, with a visitation at 2:00 pm at East Juliette Baptist Church, with funeral following at 3:00 pm. Burial will be immediately after at East Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the East Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery fund.

Mary’s family was very important to her. She made a home in Hahira, GA, for her husband and two daughters. She and her husband of 62 years, James Alvin Pritchett, grew up in Juliette. After her husband retired as a radar technician for the Federal Aviation Administration, they returned to their roots in Juliette to be near beloved relatives. Mary remained devoted to her family even after the death of her husband in 2024.

Mary is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Pritchett (Harris Sheinman) of Dunwoody, Georgia, and Maria Pritchett Rogers (Rodney) of Savannah, Georgia; grandchildren, Samuel Pritchett Sheinman (Erin Griffin) of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, Marc Pritchett Sheinman (Laura Duffy) of State College, Pennsylvania, and Wyatt Rogers of Savannah, Georgia; sisters, Gail Cochran of Juliette and Betty Wood of Providence Forge, VA.

The family would like to thank relatives, Trudy Gordon and Denise Speir, for helping to care for her in her last few years.
