Mary Jane Kelly

Mary Jane Beckum Kelly passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020.  Graveside services for family will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Monroe Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Matthew Bishop will officiate. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will not be a formal visitation. 

Mary Jane, the daughter of the late John Lewis Beckum and Ida Jane Hewett Beckum was born April 6, 1946 in Blakely, Georgia.  Her husband, James Earl Kelly preceded her in death. She was retired from The Macon Telegraph and was a member of Maynard Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Jim Kelly (Lisa) of Smiths, Alabama and Bonnie Lindsey (Greg) of Forsyth; sister, Sybil Williamson of Hernando, Florida; brother, Bo Beckum of Leesburg, Georgia; grandchildren, Ashley Kelly, Kelly McLendon, Leslie Kelly, Hunter McLendon, Taylor Kelly; and great grandchildren, Judd McLendon and EJ McLendon.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31201.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
