Mary Joyce Davis

Mary Joyce Davis passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2017, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery.  Rev. Keith Harris will officiate.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church fellowship hall.  Miss Davis, the daughter of the late Elbert Leon Davis and Mattie Sue Bowden Davis was born June 7, 1930, in Smarr, Georgia. She was a homemaker, a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was baptized in 1944.  Survivors include her sister, Frances Davis of Smarr.  Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 261, Smarr, GA 31086.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
