Marsha Sailors Allen

Marsha Gail Sailors Allen passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with visitation at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be private.  Rev. Marilyn Tucker-Marek will officiate.

Marsha, the daughter of the late Donald Roy Sailors and Mary Francis Brake Sailors was born July 6, 1951, in Commerce, Georgia.  Her brother Mark Sailors preceded her in death.  She was retired from American Military Supply and was previously employed with The Bibb Company for several years.  She was an avid stock car race fan. Marsha loved racing go-carts and was a force to be reckoned with on the track. She loved watching her daughter, grandson, and nephews play sports. She had an amazing soul and loved her family. She always put others first before herself.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Ed Allen of Bolingbroke; daughters, Brandy Allen (Brianne) and Sandy Slaton (Tony) of Macon; sisters, Donna Dominy (Stan) of Macon and Debbie Moinipour (Said) of Jones County; brothers, Keith Sailors (Tracey) of Greenville, GA and Greg Sailors of Macon; two grandchildren, Tammy Slaton and Aiden Allen; and many nieces and nephews.

The family requests no flowers but suggests donations to Curethekids.org.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
