Marjorie Johnson Urquhart

Marjorie Johnson Urquhart passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Russellville Baptist Church with burial in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Rev. Damon Fountain will officiate. The family will greet friends at 10:30 a.m., the day of the service at the church.  Mrs. Urquhart, the daughter of the late George Emmette Johnson and Joyce Flynt Johnson was born April 20, 1923, in Forsyth, Georgia. Her husband William Ernest Urquhart preceded her in death. Mrs. Urquhart retired as an administrative assistant. She was a graduate of Mary Persons High School, a graduate of Crandall Business College, a member of Russellville Baptist Church where she served in various positions, a member of Mount Vernon Lodge #369 and a member of Woodmen of the World.  Survivors include her sons, Bill (Emily) Urquhart of Forsyth and Edwen (Sheila) Urquhart of Seneca, South Carolina; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Russellville Baptist Church, c/o 5514 Hwy 42 South, Forsyth, Ga 31029.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
