Mari Floyd, 60, of Jeffersonville, passed away August 23, 2025. Mari was born December 1, 1964, in Ithaca, New York, to the late Bill Sager and Marvis Jean Garvin. A celebration of life will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel 86 West Main St, Forsyth, Georgia. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

At a young age Mari moved to Altoona Florida where she graduated from Umatilla High School. Mari was a long-time hairdresser in the middle Georgia area, where she made many friends and touched many lives. She was known for her bubbly personality, warm smile and infectious laugh.

Mari is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Joe Floyd of Jeffersonville, Georgia; son, William Joyner, of Ivey, Georgia; Daughter, Liz Joyner of Minneapolis, Minnesota; granddaughter, Zoey Joyner; sister, Terry Smith, of Altoona, Florida; brother Billy Smith, of Altoona, Florida; Sister, Andrea Dragoo; brother in law, Greg Dragoo, of Missouri; Nephew, Stephen Nelson of Warner Robins; Niece, Erica Hacket of Warner Robins; Nieces Samantha Mullenski of North Carolina, and Lilli Grace Smith of Altoona Florida; and many friends.
