Lola Wheeler Happoldt

Lola Wheeler Happoldt, 73 of Macon, Georgia passed away Thursday morning, February 5, 2026. She was born in Baxley, Georgia January 12, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Ira M. and Sallie E. Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew “Buddy” Wheeler, sister, Fay Gray Wheeler, and brother, Newt “Monk” Wheeler. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William “Billy” Happoldt, her son Andy Whited (Julie), her daughters, Lisa Dumas (Brandon) and Angie Yarbrough (Justin), grandchildren and great grandchildren: her siblings: Ira Milton “Pete” Wheeler Jr., and Charles “Doodle” Wheeler (Sherrie) and several nieces, great and great great nieces and nephews, great and great great nephews.

A celebration of Lola’s life will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1:00 pm at New Beginning Pentecostal Church, 1883 Juliette Road, Forsyth, Georgia 31029.
