Linda Lou Collman Myers

August 18, 1946 — March 11, 2023

After a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, Linda was called to join her loved one’s in heaven to bask in the glory of God.

Born in Scottsburg, IN on August 18, 1946 to the late Kenneth LeRoy Collman and Martha Leola DeVore Collman and grew up in Winter Haven, FL.  She attended Winter Haven High School where she played the clarinet in the marching band.  In her younger years she worked at Birds Eye processing plant in Winter Haven, FL and then journeyed to owning and operating her own businesses: an antique furniture store in York, PA and fabric store in Madeira Beach, FL.  Later in life, she joined Publix Supermarket working in the deli department in their Pinellas Park, FL and Warner Robins, GA locations retiring in 2012.  She lived seasonally between Georgia and Florida finally settling in Juliette, GA where she lived out her final days in her earthly home.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children Sharolyn Hudson of Warner Robins, GA, Roy Myers (Amy) of Juliette, GA, and Marsha Myers of Pinellas Park, FL; four grandchildren Harley Hill, Cole Myers, Chloe Myers, and Shea Myers; one great grandchild Kinslee Hendley; three sisters Barbara Palmer of Lakeland, FL, Judy Brooks of Brenham, TX, and Penny Masse of Winter Haven, FL; one brother Johnny Collman of Winter Haven, FL; and several nieces, nephews, an aunt, and cousins.

No funeral or memorial services will be held at this time. Condolences for the family may be left with Monroe County Memorial Services online guest book.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Linda Collman Myers to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
