Lillie Keadle Wilmot

Lillie Keadle Wilmot passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends following the service.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.

Lillie was born May 10, 1941 in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Lloyd Keadle and Ruth Davies Keadle. Her husband, Durant Wilmot preceded her in death.  She and her husband were founders of Upson Memorial Gardens, Meriwether Memorial Gardens, Lamar Memory Gardens and Monroe Memorial Gardens. Lillie was a member of Barnesville First United Methodist Church.

Lillie is survived by her children, Kaye Anglin of Molena and Susan Peyton of Thomaston (Billy); four grandchildren, Lori Anne McKissick (Cory), Edward Peyton, Joel Anglin and Miriam Boyer (Brett); sister, Jackie Pippin (Jackson) of Redbone; and brother, Sidney Keadle (Brenda) of Thomaston.

Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations to Barnesville First United Methodist Church, 375 Thomaston Street, Barnesville, GA 30204 or to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
