Lillian Daniels Parker "Maw-Maw"

January 7, 1935 — June 13, 2026

Forsyth

Lillian was born in Pinehurst, Georgia on January 7, 1935, to Nadine and Emmitt Daniels. Her family moved to Forsyth in 1946 where she met and married James Bernard Henderson. They had two children, Cathy and Tony. After Bernard’s unexpected passing in 1972 she married Homer Parker in 1976.

She worked at Trio Manufacturing company for over fifty years and was a member of Garden Hill Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly and one of her biggest joys was keeping her grandchildren, including her great-grandchildren well into her 80s.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Louvenia Daniels, Bennie Daniels, Martha Harrington, JC Daniels and Bobby Daniels and son-in-law, Mike Snow.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Snow and son, Tony Henderson (Grace). She was “Maw-Maw” to four grandchildren: Amy (Paul), Katie, Michael (Courtney), Dylan (Micah) and three great-grandchildren: Warrick, Zoey and Charlee. She is also survived by four sisters-in-law: Mary Daniels, Christine Daniels, Betty Jenkins, Ann Cook and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 17th at 11am, at Garden Hill Baptist Church with burial following at Monroe County Memorial Garden. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall at Garden Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Garden Hill Baptist Church (88 Vining Street, Forsyth, GA 31029) in her memory.
