Kay Hilsman Lariscy

August 24, 1943 — July 4, 2019

Kay Hilsman Lariscy, 75, of Forsyth, Georgia went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2019.

Kay was born in Madison, Georgia to the late J.C. and Carrie Bell Adcock. She was a lifelong florist as well as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Kay is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joe Lariscy of Forsyth, children Bart Hilsman and Jason Hilsman (Jennifer) of Madison, Heather Register (James) of Forsyth and Chris Lariscy (Emily) of Suwanee, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as sisters Juanita Harrison of Greensboro, Shirley Lancaster of Madison, Donna Knighten (Joe) of Rome and brother Billy Adcock (Ginger) of Madison, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Kay was the owner of Etc. Flowers and Gifts in Madison, GA for many years before moving from her home town of Madison to Forsyth. In Forsyth she opened Lariscy’s Flowers and Gifts where she serviced her community for 16 years doing what she loved. She was a member of the Forsyth Arts Alliance as she was a painter and artist as well. She loved spending time with her family and friends and relaxing with a good book.

Family will greet friends for a Celebration of Life, Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 2pm until 4pm at the Monroe County Moose Lodge, 524 Cabaniss Road Forsyth, GA 31029. Burial will be private.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
