Julian "Willie" Hubbard Jr., passed away peacefully on October 13, 2023, in Forsyth, Georgia, just shy of his 69th birthday.  A memorial service will be held at the Hubbard residence on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 1:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org

Born on October 20, 1954, in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of the late Julian Willie Hubbard Sr. and Barbara Faye Eckert Hubbard.

Known to most as Willie, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. His legacy lives on through his wife, Sheila Hubbard; children, Julian Hubbard, Nicole Reeves (Linton), and Brenda Rogers; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother, Perry Hubbard (Michelle); sisters, Linda Kitchens (Randy), Barbara Hubbard, Marilyn Hubbard, Jessica Crowder (Michael), Patty Lou Hubbard; and several cherished nieces and nephews. Willie was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Wade Hubbard; and brothers, Shorty, Michael, and John Hubbard.

Willie proudly served in the US Air Force as a jet engine mechanic, a testament to his dedication, discipline, and patriotism. Away from the mechanic bay, Willie was an avid hunter and found joy in passing this passion to his grandchildren. His teachings extended beyond the hunting ground - instilling values of patience, precision, and respect for nature in the younger generation.
