After a long battle with pneumonia, Judy Jones Hunter was welcomed into God's loving arms on December 13, 2021. Judy was surrounded by her 4 daughters and daughter in law when she was called home.
Judy was born October 6, 1950 in Birmingham, Al to Johnny and Juanita Jones. She graduated from Ensley High School and went on to college at Auburn University. She had a passion for helping others and you could often find her volunteering at the schools, her church, and in the community. Judy also enjoyed acting in community theater, singing, painting, travelling, photography, and just spending time in nature.
Judy is survived by her daughters Rebecca Hunter, Elizabeth Hunter, and Rachel Hunter of Forsyth, Ga, and Leah Hunter (Megan) of Macon, Ga., her brothers Johnny M. Jones, Jerry Jones (Mary Anne), and Jeffry Jones of Birmingham, Al, her father, Johnny Jones of Leeds, Al, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
