Johnny Frank Blackmon

Johnny Frank Blackmon passed away Friday, January 1, 2021. His wishes were to be cremated with no service.

Johnny, the son of the late Claude Blackmon and Mattie Florence Criswell Blackmon was born April 4, 1945 in Griffin, Georgia.  His wife, Rita Angela White Blackmon preceded him in death.  He was retired from Keadle Lumber Company.

Johnny is survived by his children, Richard Blackmon of Forsyth, Robbie Blackmon (Laurie) of Forsyth and Johnny Blackmon (Nancy) of Thomaston; brother, James Blackmon (Ella) of Barnesville; grandchildren, Ashley Blackmon, James Wyatt Blackmon (Mallory)  Robert Bailey Blackmon, Austin Blackmon and Jason Whitcomb (Erica); great- grandchildren,  Jacob Blackmon and Carson Whitcomb.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of local arrangements.
