Allen Parker, Sr.

Johnnie Allen Parker, Sr. passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Allen’s wishes were to be cremated. Service and burial will be private. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2019, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.

Allen, the son of the late Johnnie A. Parker and Eileen Williams Pippin was born November 9, 1939, in Forsyth, Georgia. He was a retired contractor and was a veteran of the GA Army National Guard.

Survivors include, Velma Parker of Forsyth; children, Al Parker (Marla) of Lawrenceville and Andy Parker (Michelle) of Forsyth; sisters, Wanda Holland (Don) of Forsyth and Leighanne Young (Gerald) of McRae; brothers, Larry Parker (Dianna) of Lacrosse, Virginia and Johnnie Parker, Jr. (Tokie) of Brownsville, Texas; and four grandchildren..

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
