John Leroy Skiner

John Leroy Skiner, 74, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026.

John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elaine Tate Skiner. He is survived by his friends and neighbors, Perry Hubbard and Barbara Hubbard, and will be missed by all who knew him.

John lived in Monroe County since 1990 and retired from the Macon Water Authority. He was a welder by trade and was very good at his work. He enjoyed building deer stands for his friends and was always willing to help others.

Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, John was a friend to the community and would do anything he could to help people. He will be remembered fondly and greatly missed.
