John Joseph Ptak, Jr.

John Joseph Ptak Jr. went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2020 following a battle with cancer. Services will be held at a later date.

Preceding in death his grandparents, Dominick and Josephine Fiduccia, his parents, John Joseph Ptak Sr. and Josephine Fiduccia Ptak; son John Joseph Ptak ll;  one brother Robert James Ptak.

A member of Maynard Baptist Church, John loved God and his church family. He served in the Vietnam War and loved his military brothers and sisters. John enjoyed hunting; fishing, NASCAR and you could often find him in his tree stand reading his bible.

Survivors include his wife Jeannie Ptak; two daughters Judy Christine Montes of Schaumburg, IL and Jennifer J. Lear of Gordon, KY; and six granddaughters Rebbeca, Emily, Judy, Amie, Crystal, and Alexis; two surviving  sisters, Patricia Ptak Baehr and her husband Ed,  of Glen Ellen, IL and Donna M Ptak Tamaski) of Hanover Park IL.
