Jody Carr,68, of Juliette passed away Saturday May 17, 2025. A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 31, 2025, at the Moose Lodge #524 Cabiness Road, Forsyth, Georgia, between 12:30 PM – 3:45 PM. (Please bring a covered dish)
Jody was born October 20, 1956, in Columbus Georgia to the late O’Neil Carr and late Mary Gross Carr. He was a hard worker and was well respected among his peers, which was evident as he started working as an iron worker then quickly moved up to become a superintendent. He was known at work as a “top notch rigger and a legend in the Crane industry. When not working he enjoyed his dogs, riding his Harley Davidson, fishing and spending time with his friends and family, grilling out, drinking beer and shooting shit. Jody was a master mason and member of the Lilburn Luxomni Lodge.
Jody is survived by his wife Kathy Carr; children, Britain Carr (Heidi) of Florida, Dylan Riegler (Tara) of Kentucky, Betty Moe (Travis) of Washington and Lisa Ingram of Washington; eleven grandchildren, and many friends.
In addition to his parents Jody is preceded in death by his sister Lucy Carr Wagner and nephew Zach Ewbanks.
