Jimmy Darrell Handley

Jimmy Darrell Handley passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Serenity Hospice in Milledgeville.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.  Rev. Marilyn Tucker-Marek will officiate.

Mr. Handley was born April 18, 1938 in Ocilla, Georgia to the late James Oscar Handley and Lucille Louise Melvin Handley.  His wife Pam Hamlin Handley preceded him in death.  He was a retired real estate broker and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Mr. Handley is survived by his daughter, Kristal (Jordan) Vaughn; grandchildren, Reid and Emily Vaughn of Forsyth; sisters, Betty Johnson of Cordele and JoAnn Owens of Fitzgerald; and brother, Damon Handley of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
