Jay Thomas Green

Mr. Jay Thomas Green, 28, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away on October 15, 2023. Jay is survived by his parents, Steve and Tammy Green; daughter, Tegan Grace Green; daughter on-the-way, Jaycie Renee Green; sisters, Megan (Nathaniel) Morris and Hannah Green; grandparents, Gene (Robin) Green and Florence (Ray) Story; and an overwhelming amount of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jay was preceded in death by Tommy Kendrick, grandfather, and Faye Kendrick, grandmother.

Jay graduated from Mary Persons High School in 2013 where he played baseball for the Bulldogs varsity baseball team. After graduating, he received scholarships to attend ABAC and Emanuel University to continue his passion in baseball. Jay loved hard and fought fierce in everything that he did. He was hardworking, loyal, and was always the life of the party. His smile could light up any room, and we know it’s lighting up Heaven right now. Gone but never forgotten. And never goodbye, only a “see you later”.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life service at CrossOver Ministries on Sunday October 22, 2023 at 3:00 pm located at 1376 Bucksnort Rd. Jackson, Ga 30233. Following the service, friends and family are welcome to stay and fellowship with a provided dinner.
