James “Jungle Jim” Edward Colvin

May 31, 1953 — February 25, 2023

James Edward “Jungle Jim” Colvin, 69, of Juliette, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 4, 2023, at East Juliette Baptist Church, 183 J H Aldridge Drive, Juliette, Georgia, with the Reverend Charles Starks officiating.  Family will greet friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to service. 

Jim enjoyed spending time working on trucks.  He loved hunting, fishing, playing pool, and riding his Harley.  He was a retired truck driver.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Saylm Colvin Middleton (Chad) of Forsyth; his two grandchildren, Tyler Middleton and MacKenzie Middleton; his sister, Linda Colvin of Juliette; brother, Jerry Colvin of Juliette; sisters, Molie Trambly of Jacksonville, Florida, Kathryn Picard (Rene) of Amelia Island, Florida, and Mable Voegeli of Commerce, Georgia; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mattie Colvin; and siblings, Elmer Colvin Jr., W.C. Colvin, Benita Sterne, Maudine Bremer, Mary Colvin, Raymond Colvin, and Johnny Colvin.
