Mr. Todd Harmon, 58, of Forsyth, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Funeral services will be at High Falls Baptist Church, August 3, 2024 at 3:00PM, with the Reverend Jeff Giddens and Jordan Harmon officiating. Interment and committal services will follow at Salem Cemetery on Highway 36 in Upson County, with the Reverend David Dawson officiating. The family will greet friends at Monroe County Memorial Chapel, Friday, August 2, 2024, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
Todd worked for Perdue Farms for 24 years. He was an avid competitive bass fisherman and a fan of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team. He was known for helping other people, going on many mission trips over the years, including trips to New Orleans, Kentucky, and three trips to Peru. Todd truly lived out his faith every day and anyone who met Todd would see right away that he loved Jesus. He was a devoted family man and never went a single day without telling his wife, Lisa, that he loved her.
Todd is preceded in death by his father, James “Billy” Harmon. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Harmon; daughter, Ashton Duncan (Bobby) of Forsyth; son, Jordan Harmon (Tiffany) of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Marlena Harmon (Brewer) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three grandchildren, Kathryn Duncan, Adalynn Harmon, and Thaddeus Harmon; parents, Carol and Alton Silver of Forsyth; brother, Brad Harmon (Charlene) of Forsyth; sister, Dana Harmon of Forsyth; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
