Jacquelyn Kunkel Ivey

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Kunkel Ivey passed away Friday, July 21, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Gail Metcalf will officiate.  The family will greet friends at 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Jackie, the daughter of the late Marion David Kunkel and Tabitha Brandenburg Kunkel was born March 14, 1931, in Richmond, Kentucky. Her husband, George T. Ivey, Sr. and her grandson, George Ivey preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Wesleyan College. Mrs. Ivey was owner and operator of JK Ivey Art Studio where the she taught classes.  Survivors include her children, Tommy Ivey (Donna) of Gray and David Ivey (Becky) of Macon; grandchildren, Sherry Blalock, David Ivey, Emily Ivey, Patrick Ivey and Ben Ivey; great grandchildren, Alex McIntosh, Megan McIntosh and Gavin Fried.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to donor’s favorite charity.  To view this live at the time of the service or at a later time please visit: http://citylinktv.com/channel/forsyth-monroe-county-memorial-chapel/  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
