Jacob Anthony New passed away Monday, September 10, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Paran Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Cody Fountain will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Jacob was born July 8, 1983, in Thomaston, Georgia. He was employed with MF&H Textiles as a machine operator. Survivors include his wife, Christina Rae Tetlow of Butler; children, Skylar Champoux of Durham, New Hampshire and Isabella Grace Johnson of Vidalia; parents, Joel and Janet New of Butler; sisters, Jolyn New of Butler and Elizabeth Nelson of South Carolina; grandparents, Joyce Kendrick of Butler, HL and Carline Guined of Butler. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
