Gerald William Rawlins

Gerald William Rawlins, November 14, 1929 to July 12, 2017. Gerald passed away at his home in Barnesville Ga. surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents Olin & Dolly Rawlins, sister Marie Horne, brothers Gene, Carey, Walter, & J.C. Rawlins, son Gordon Buchanon. He is survived by his beloved wife Hazel Marie Rawlins, his son C. Alan Rawlins, (Raine), daughters Janice Atchison, (Bill) Cathy Cherry (Dennis) and Cindy Weber (Pete), sister Lavenne Johnson, brothers Omri (Lolita) and Roy Rawlins (Betty) and as well as 12 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. A celebration of Geralds life will take place on Saturday July 22, 2017 at 2 PM at Westside Church of Christ, 230 O'Dell Road, Griffin Ga. The family asks in lieu of flowers; please donate to the Habitat for Humanity in Geralds name.
