Gail King

Dorothy Gail King passed away Friday, April 16, 2021, at Pine Pointe Hospice.  The family will greet friends at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with a Memorial Service following at 3:00 p.m.  Rev. Mark Goolsby and Rev. Keith Harris will officiate.

Gail, the daughter of the late Albert Franklin Marshall and Dorothy Marie Johnson Marshall was born November 23, 1945 in Macon, Georgia. She retired from Monroe County as a clerk.

Gail is survived by her husband, Felix King of Macon; children, Chris King (Kim) of Forsyth, Andy King (Mandi) of Forsyth and Jennifer Shiver (Blake) of Shiloh; brothers, Lawrence Marshall (Kathryn) of Roswell and Gerald Marshall (Karen) of Charleston, TN; five grandchildren; aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, PO Box 261, Smarr, GA 31086 or to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
