Forrest I. Adams, age 56, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away on June 26, 2026, at his residence in Forsyth, Georgia.
Born on March 25, 1970, Forrest was the beloved son of Forest Adams Sr. and Brenda (Willis) Adams. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, cherished brother, and loyal friend whose kindness, strength, and love for his family will never be forgotten.
Forrest is survived by his loving wife, Lori Greene Adams; his sons: Mathew (Felicia) Adams, Jordan (Jessica) Adams, and Jacob (Mallory) Phelps; his daughter, Molly (Brandon) Phelps; and his treasured grandsons: John Adams, James Adams, Duke Phelps, Denver Phelps, and Jagger Livingston. He is also survived by his mother, Brenda Adams; his sister, Novalee (Rex) Hillard; his brother, Shawn (Amber) Adams; brother-in-law, Donnie (Tracie) Greene; his nephew, Rex Hillard; and his nieces, Abagail Adams and Keira Greene; great niece, Gracie Hillard, great nephews: Witten Hillard, Landry Hillard and Lane Hillard; mother-in-law, Sue (Frank) Nemcic; and his world travel partners, Rob (Heidi)Davis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Forest Adams Sr.,
Forrest devoted 38 years to the paper manufacturing industry, where his exceptional work ethic, leadership, and dedication earned him the respect of his coworkers and numerous professional honors throughout his career. He most recently served as Senior Manufacturing Director with Graphic Packaging, a position that reflected the knowledge, integrity, and commitment he brought to every role. He took great pride in his work and was admired not only for his accomplishments, but also for the positive impact he made on those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
An avid outdoorsman, Forrest had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing. His love for the outdoors was instilled in him at an early age by his father, Forest, and his special uncle, L.J. Adams. Some of his most treasured memories were made during annual deer hunting trips with his father, sons, and family, as well as countless fishing adventures on Lake Erie. In recent years, he and Lori fulfilled a lifelong dream by embarking on an African safari hunting adventure together, creating memories they would cherish forever.
More than anything, Forrest loved his family. He was a man of unwavering loyalty, generosity, and quiet strength whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around him. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
