Ermyne Willis Ragland

Ermyne Willis Ragland went home to be with her Lord, Friday, June 16, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017, at Forsyth City Cemetery. Dr. David Sanders will officiate.  Mrs. Ragland, the daughter of the late John Cullen Willis and Ouida Mae Smith Willis was born April 26, 1922, in Monroe County, Georgia. Her husband, Evan Fletchall Ragland and her brother Webster Willis preceded her in death.  Mrs. Ragland retired from Richmond County School System as a secretary, was a member of Warren Baptist Church in Augusta and was very involved in her community.  Survivors include her son, Michel E. Ragland of Martinez; daughter and son- in- law, Gwin and Raymond Newton of Forsyth; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, as well as a beloved extended family.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Warren Baptist Church Food Bank, 3203 Washington Road, Augusta, GA 30907.Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
