Douglas Glenn Parrish passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, in the Mausoleum Chapel in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, GA 31204 with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Bobby McLain, Jr. will officiate.  Jimmy Coursey and Kristi Parrish will speak.  The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018. at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Doug was born July 5, 1962, in Macon, Georgia. His father, Billy T. Parrish and his brothers, Robert Parrish and David Parrish preceded him in death. He was retired from the construction industry. Survivors include his wife, Pam Parrish; children, Kristi Parrish, Kayla Parrish of Culloden, Dustin Parrish and Misty Kitchens (Cody) of Macon; mother and step-father, Betty and John Pierson of Culloden, grandchildren, Abbi and Lucas Kitchens and Dylan Parrish; best friends, M. O. Leverette and Robert D’Angelo; and his beloved dog Betsy. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
