Dorothy Elizabeth Passmore

Dorothy Elizabeth Passmore of Culloden, 80, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Mrs. Passmore, the daughter of the late Charles Nichols and Dorothy Elizabeth Walker was born July 10, 1941, in Miami, Florida. She was retired from American Woodmark.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Les Passmore Sr., son Robert Gaskill, daughter Sandra Gaskill Burson Loyd, and sister Pat Roquemore.

Survivors include her daughters, Jeannie (Mark) McCoy of Culloden and Tracy (Shane) Benton of Macon; step-sons, William Grady (Ruth) Passmore of Culloden and Lessie (Sandra) Passmore of Smarr; brother, Bob Nichols of Texas; a cherished legacy of fourteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2022, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Forsyth City Cemetery. Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate.

Dorothy will be desperately missed by all those that she’s left behind. Our hearts are so broken by this unexpected loss. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the memorial fund which will be used to assist with unexpected expenses to Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
